Knowledge and Practice in Mayotte : Local Discourses of Islam, Sorcery and Spirit Possession (ENG)

On the East African island of Mayotte, Islam co-exists with two other systems of understanding and interpreting the world around its inhabitants: cosmology and spirit-mediumship.
